2026 International Seminar on Artificial Intelligence, Networking and Information Technology

On May 16, 2026, the 7th International Seminar on Artificial Intelligence, Networking and Information Technology (AINIT 2026) was successfully held at Dalian Jiaotong University (Shahéko Campus) in Dalian, China. The conference was hosted by Dalian Jiaotong University, co-organized by the College of Rail Intelligent Engineering of Dalian Jiaotong University and the School of Software at Dalian University of Technology, and generously co-sponsored by the College of Information Science and Technology at Dalian Maritime University and the College of Information Engineering at Dalian University.

At the opening ceremony, Professor Li Fengqi, Dean of the College of Rail Intelligent Engineering at Dalian Jiaotong University and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, served as the moderator. Professor Chen Bingzhi, President of Dalian Jiaotong University, and Professor Luo Zhongxuan, Vice President of Dalian University of Technology, delivered enthusiastic opening remarks, setting a high academic tone for the conference and extending warm welcomes to scholars from around the world.

The conference focused on in-depth discussions of cutting-edge challenges and latest advancements in the fields of artificial intelligence, networking, and information technology. During the morning keynote session, six distinguished domestic and international scholars were invited to deliver presentations: Professor Zhang Yan from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Professor Si Xueming, Chief Scientist at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Professor Qiu Tie from Northeastern University, Professor Han Guangjie from Hohai University, Professor Wang Jie from Dalian Maritime University, and Professor Ruili Wang from Massey University, New Zealand. The latter half of the morning session was chaired by Professor Guo Chen, Vice Dean of the College of Rail Intelligent Engineering at Dalian Jiaotong University, with a vibrant academic atmosphere and lively exchanges.

In the afternoon, the conference continued with invited talks and oral presentations. Professor Sun Jingyuan from the University of Manchester delivered an outstanding invited talk. Subsequently, the conference featured 9 on-site oral presentations and 3 online oral presentations. Through multi-dimensional intellectual exchanges, the participating scholars fully demonstrated the innovative vitality and broad prospects of the fields of artificial intelligence, networking, and information technology.

To encourage outstanding contributions from researchers, the conference established a special award session. Following rigorous evaluation by the review committee, a total of 3 excellent papers, 2 outstanding oral presentations, and 3 excellent poster presentations were selected. These awards not only recognized the academic excellence of the winners but also greatly inspired the research enthusiasm of the conference attendees.

The successful holding of AINIT 2026 has provided a high-quality academic exchange platform for scholars and experts in related fields worldwide, making significant contributions to theoretical innovation and technological application development in the discipline.
